The Back
The dress I got was too small, do I converted the zipper in the back to a lace up/ corset style. I haven't made a slip to put beneath it yet, but I will.

Step 1: Gather Materials
The important thing about this is to get an eyelet kit as well as extra eyelets.
1.1 The eyelet kit I got. It comes with the two piece hammering set plus 25 1/8th inch eyelets. 1.2 I also bought 50 extra eyelets. I tried spray painting them gold, but that didn't work very well, so I just left them as they were and colored them later. 1.3 This is everything assembled. From left to right, top to bottom, its a block of wood (to cut and hammer on), a metal hammer (a mallet is rubber and too bouncy), my eyelets, a hole puncher (optional, can use a pencil or pen), Xacto knife, and the two part set that came with the eyelet kit. |

Step 2: Practice
It is very important to practice these before you attempt them on the real fabric.

Step 3: Do it all
